Holiday Basket Giveaway!

The Friends of the Winston County Library will be giving away a huge basket of goodies just in time for the holidays as a fundraiser for Friends. We’ve already received gifts from Fashion Boutique, Something Special, ala carte Alice, and many more. Basket would be a great present for a grandparent, mother, or father.

If you’re a local merchant and would like to donate a gift, please bring it to the library before November 15. The drawing will be December 2. We will raffle the basket with tickets of only $5.00 each or three tickets for $10.

“Get Ready for Kindergarten” Display at Library

It’s that time of year! Children are getting ready to go back to school. August is “Get Ready for Kindergarten” month and the Winston County Library has a special display promoting this. “Come by the library and see this fun display,” says librarian Beth Edwards, “and check out great books, audio books, DVDs and learn about lots of other services the library provides – for free!”
