Friends of the Library Book Sale is Moving

The Friends of the Library Book Sale will be moving to the old library building (Girl Scout Hut) this spring. We still have a lot to do in order to get our new building ready, so bear with us. In the coming months, we will let all our customers know when the next sale will occur. Thank you all for your patience and your continued support for your local library.

Hooked Rug Display at the Library

Pat Sims has loaned some of her beautiful hand hooked rugs to the Winston County Library for a display during the month of January. “She designs most of the rugs herself and she dyes her own wool,” commented librarian Beth Edwards. “She really is quite gifted, and I hope that people will take the opportunity to come by and see her works. She will be giving a program in April during National Library Week on creating your own hooked rugs.”
